About the Programme

This program aims to offer emotional and behavioural support to everyone who comes into custody in Hydebank College and Women's Prison. Start360 works in a Multi Disciplinary Team within the Offender Management Unit. 

In-depth committal assessments are completed to ensure a clear understanding of what issues clients are facing. A wide range of interventions are provided to explore alternative coping mechanisms and desirable replacement behaviours. Heart Math is used as a tool which helps reduce stress and anxiety for vulnerable inmates/prisoners.

  • Youth Advice Clinic 
  • XL Programme (Prince's Trust) 
  • Safer Lives (A programme developed for young males involved in sexually harmful behaviours)
